ABOUT PLOTLEADS
PlotLeads is a tool that builds business lead lists sourced from Google Maps for sales development reps and marketing agencies selling into US home services. We compile company names, phone numbers, websites, and ratings from Google Maps for trades such as roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, landscaping, pest control, pool service, cleaning, and handyman work, and deliver them as a clean CSV you can drop straight into a CRM or dialer.
The product exists because building these lists by hand is slow and the generic, all-industries lead tools are not built for this buyer. PlotLeads is vertical by design: every page, list, and export is shaped around home-services prospecting, priced as one-time credit packs that never expire rather than a subscription you have to remember to cancel.
The team
WHO RUNS PLOTLEADS
PlotLeads is independently built and operated by a solo founder. It is not a venture-backed company or a large team; it is a focused, self-funded product run by one person who handles the engineering, the data pipeline, and customer support directly. We think that is a feature: there is no support tier to escalate through, and the person who answers your email is the person who built the tool.
That person is Usama Zafar. He is a PhD researcher in distributed machine learning — his academic work centres on robust federated learning, training models across many independent data sources — and he builds data tooling on the side. Designing systems that collect, clean, and reason over messy real-world data is the day job, which is precisely the discipline a lead-data product lives or dies by: knowing where the data comes from, what it does and does not contain, and how to keep it honest.
The operator is based outside the United States while serving US customers. PlotLeads is built and operated by Usama Zafar as a sole proprietorship registered in Sweden, and it operates under Swedish law; our Terms and Privacy Policy carry the specifics.
Method
HOW WE BUILD THE LISTS
Every list is pulled live from Google Maps at the time you run a search, geo-scoped to the metro you ask for, and limited to publicly listed business information. We would rather tell you the real mechanism than make vague quality claims.
Scope
WHAT WE SELL, AND WHAT WE DON’T
We sell business-to-business contact data for legitimate outreach. The lists concern businesses, not consumers, and they are intended for B2B prospecting that complies with anti-spam and telemarketing law. We do not sell consumer data, we do not provide data for business-to-consumer marketing, and we ask customers not to resell or redistribute the lists. The full rules are in our Terms of Service.
